As the Covid-19 pandemic required self-isolation during the final thesis quarter, the studio opposed the notion of separation, and looked towards connectivity. The following is a collaborative game that merges 19 distinct theses into an ephemeral cloud cluster where the visitor can fly through portals to visit each students’ project. The collective space is discursive and ambiguous. This virtual space intended to evoke both the emergent nature of the diverse and evolving discourse of architectural speculation, imagination, and materialization within a dream-like environment. Spectral human figures that can be glimpsed soaring in the distance is suggestive of other visitors or obscure characters that populate a dream.
